New Gluten-Free Asian Helper Chicken Fried Rice: Box Photos and Ingredients

I found the new gluten-free Asian Helper Chicken Fried Rice at Safeway today for $2. One box makes five servings, and one serving has 520 mg of sodium. Here are the ingredients, allergens, and directions. Click on the photo of the directions to read it. The other two gluten-free Hamburger Helper varieties will be in stores later this summer.

Yikes!! 520mg of sodium is a lot. I think I would rather make an Asian Chicken dish from scratch with a LOT less sodium.

Actually, compared to other boxed items and some regular Hamburger Helpers, the sodium is actually less than what I expected. You can reduce the sodium by using less of the seasoning packet. If you eat more than one serving (most people probably do), then the sodium is way too high!

Why would anyone want to put those ingredients in their stomach? It does NOT sound appetizing!

It was the most disgusting thing I ever ate - worse than brussel sprouts and doggie chocs.

Being gluten free for quite some time I was thrilled just to find any boxed meal gf and didn't think this was bad. However lately this product has dropped the "Gluten Free" on the box and now states It may contain wheat. Any one know what happened?

They have had a change in the manufacturing facility and can no longer guarantee the product is free from cross-contamination.
