Headaches, Insomnia, or Joint Pain: Get Tested for Celiac Disease

Headaches, insomnia, and joint pain are three of the over 300 symptoms of celiac disease. If you are experiencing any of the 300 symptoms, get tested for celiac disease!

The good news is that if you have celiac disease, a 100% gluten-free diet will greatly improve your health and decrease the likelihood of additional complications. It is important to keep eating gluten until you have completed all testing for celiac disease (blood tests and possibly an endoscopy).

Before I was diagnosed with celiac disease in January 2007, I spent five years searching for the cause of my headaches, migraines, insomnia, and severe knee pain. Today, if you google headaches, insomnia, and joint pain, either individually or as a phrase, it is still unlikely that you will find information about celiac disease. I hope this blog post will change that!
